Ballet group at PASA
this week
The Performing Arts Society of Acadiana will present a performance by Ballet Memphis at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Heymann Performing Arts Center in Lafayette.
The program will include works by choreographers Alvin Ailey, Julia Adam, Robert Battle, Jane Comfort and Trey McIntyre.
Tickets start at $28 and are available at the Heymann Center Box Office or through Ticketmaster.com.
Discounts are available for University of Louisiana at Lafayette students and faculty for tickets purchased through the box office.

Congressional internships
U.S. Rep. Charles Boustany Jr., R-Lafayette, is accepting applications for summer internships in his Washington, D.C., office.
Interns perform a wide range of tasks, including research, media relations and interaction with constituents.
The internships are open to college students and recent graduates.

Festival International
The 2012 pins and posters for Festival International de Louisiane are now available at http://www.festivalinternational.com.
Proceeds benefit the free music festival, which is scheduled this year from April 25 through April 29 in downtown Lafayette.
Junior League grant
The Junior League of Lafayette is accepting applications for its 2012 Spring Community Enrichment Grant of up to $25,000 for a local non-profit group. Applications must be received by noon on Feb. 8.

GRAMMY gala
The Acadiana Center for the Arts in downtown Lafayette will host a “GRAMMY Gala” at 7 p.m. on Feb. 25
Current and past GRAMMY nominees and winners are scheduled to perform, including Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys, Rebirth Brass Band, Joel and Anne Savoy, the Magnolia Sisters, CC Adcock, and Chubby Carrier. Tickets are $75, which includes food and drinks.
